Joanne Peh vs Christy Yow as Striptease Dancer Rose Chan
MediaCorp star Joanne Peh is ready to follow the footsteps of Christy Yow to bare all for a movie.
She is interested to star as Rose Chan, a striptease dancer from the 1950s and 1960s, in Eric Khoo's upcoming movie, The Charming Rose.
Khoo has yet to decide if there will be full frontal nudity, although there will be some striptease performances and partial nudity involved.
Joanne Peh deserves respect for her professionalism in seeing her body as just a tool for acting. After all, nudity can be a form of art and not porn.
But compared to the 36C buxomy figure of Christy Yow, she is at a disadvantage in portraying a sexy striptease dancer. What do you guys think?
