Caldecott princess Jeanette Aw is reportedly in a relationship with former MediaCorp actor Joshua Ang, who is ten years her junior.

But Jeanette Aw has downplayed the chances of being in a May-December relationship. The actress revealed that it was only after filming wrapped that they realised they shared a good rapport and thus frequently asked each other out for meals.

Describing herself as a 'practical' woman, her partner's maturity is the main criteria on her checklist.

"I can then depend on him and be able to confide in him. Hence, I'm more acceptable of a relationship with a much older guy," she laughed.

In this age, celebrities falling in love with younger partners is very common. But it is hard to believe Jeanette Aw and Jason Ang are a couple... more likely just brother and sister.

The 41 year old artiste has reportedly made a marriage proposal with a 2 carat diamond ring to model girlfriend 簡寶珊 who is 16 years his junior.

The couple has been dating for several months until recently when David Tao popped the question. Their marriage could take place in January next year.

As one of Taiwan's most talented singer/song-writer and eligible bachelor, David Tao has a colorful love life which includes girlfriends Melody, 林韋君，Paraguay model Liz，etc.

So far, David Tao's management has denied the incident, so it is too early to congratulate him.

Three-time FIFA World Player of the Year Ronaldo announced that he is the biological father of a five-year-old boy, Alex, living in Singapore.

The 34-year-old Brazilian footballer confirmed the DNA results on Twitter. Writing in Portuguese, he said: "The test results proved what I had felt when I saw Alex ... Alex is my son and I will always be like a father with all the pleasures and duties. Welcome."

Ronaldo first met Alexander's mother, Ms Michele Umezu, in Tokyo. They met again two years later when he returned to Japan with Real Madrid on a tour. It was then that Umezu became pregnant.


Michele Umezu has been trying to have Ronaldo recognized as Alexander's father and is demanding child support. Ronaldo has three other children from his previous marriage and current union.

The police is now investigating but even if Pierre Png feels upset by the near accident, his behavior cannot be encouraged.

Corinne Theile, 31, doffed her boots, raincoat and black bikini cleared the Transportation Security Authority (TSA) gantlet at Los Angeles International Airport without a hitch.



Dr. Tammy Banovac, a retired surgeon who uses a metal wheelchair, had always felt violated by hand searches and recently went through security at the Oklahoma City airport wearing only a black lingerie.

Unfortunately, the plan didn't work out as the scanners detected nitrate residue on her body -- which experts say could be from medication, hunting, etc.

Banovac was then subjected to an hour of questioning and the dreaded hand-searches. She missed her flight and the irony is that when she returned the next day, again in lingerie, she was patted down again.

I feel security is important, after all nobody wants to travel in an airplane which is hijacked by terrorists. But pat-down is degrading and the alternative of full-body or ‘nudity scanners' is no better at protecting our privacy too.

Hopefully, technology can improve on scanning systems to do the job with efficiency and dignity. Meantime, we just got to endure the treatment.. :(

Kim Hyun-joong, leader and eldest member of the Korean group SS501, is has arrived in Singapore to do a promotion for Face Shop and fan signing.

Kim Hyun Joong (nickname Sexy Boy) became wildly popularity in Japan, China and Taiwan, thanks to the hit drama "Boys Over Flowers" where he starred as F4 member Hanazawa Rui.


Although he looks like a pretty boy, Hyun-joong actually has a ‘tough guy’ personality and is known to be very straightforward.
