Foyce Le Xuan 乐轩 Makes Police Report Against Jack Neo

Actress Foyce Le Xuan had lodged a police report at the Tampines Neighborhood Police Post this afternoon against Jack Neo for sexual harrassment.
Foyce passed the flirty SMSes to the police and also made a report over threatening phone calls warning her to to “be careful as they won’t let her off”.
Le Xuan 乐轩claimed that she doesn't want to break up Jack Neo's family or to continue stirring the hornet's nest. She did it out of "self protection."
If Jack Neo really made unwelcome advances towards 乐轩, I think an apology to her will be helpful. But so far, Jack Neo has denied sexual harassment and asked for evidence, that implies Foyce is telling lies.
Besides her character, Foyce may also be fighting for her dignity - she is the victim of harassment, yet she is being accused as a fame seeker.
In spite of her pastor's advice to close the case, Foyce went ahead with a police report. Did Jack Neo hurt Foyce beyond the "harmless" SMSes? Did they have sex? Foyce only replied: “If I confess to this, the matter will blow up.”
Such an answer obviously make the water more murky. In any case, the SMSes are with the police, so just let them investigate and reveal the truth.

How Will You Rate Jack Neo Press Conference?
Jack Neo apologised for his actions at a news conference held on Thursday morning. He arrived at the news conference hand in hand with his wife, Irene Kng, and said he was entirely to blame and began crying.
The news conference ended when Mdm Kng started crying. As she was walking off the stage, she fainted. And the photographers and cameramen swamped to the stage to take her photos. Neo screamed at them to stop filming and get away from her.
Source: CNA
How will you rate Jack Neo's press conference? I am surprised by the contrast between Jack Neo and Tiger Woods handling of their infidelity.
Tiger Woods' string of mistresses caused a big hoohah in America, a liberal place where open marriages and same-sex relationships do not raise any eyebrows. Yet Tiger Woods is roundly chastised, the support is overwhelmingly with Elin Nordegren, and big name sponsors shun Tiger Woods negative influence.
Tiger Woods did not deny his sex addiction, proceeded to check himself into rehabilitation and finally apologized profusely few weeks ago. Even then, his apology was deemed insincere by American media and Elin is still monitoring his behavior.
So how should Singapore, a conservative society which still value marriage vows, react to Jack Neo's affair? And his drama-filled four minute "tell-all" but no apology needed media conference?
Should Singaporeans just say that Jack Neo's sex scandal is a private affair, since the wife doesn't mind and is ready to forgive her husband, Jack doesn't owe the public an apology. Also, it is too bad that a 16 year old girl is feeling traumatized from Jack's sexual harrassment and wants to tell her mom and make police report?
It is not that the public want to be kaypoh or is attacking Jack Neo just because he is famous. If someone (say taxi driver, cleaner, etc) has been harrassing a young girl with suggestive SMSes and asking her to meet up at hotels, what will be your reaction? Is it indignation or indifference?
If you are angry at a stranger, obviously, the fury will be many times over when you know the culprit to be a father, husband, Cultural Medallion winner, PBM and highly respected movie director.
I am actually upset to see Irene Kng crying and fainting during the press conference. I don't know if it is staged or not but she has definitely suffered a lot from her husband's indiscretions and it is brave of her to attend the conference. Jack Neo has a good wife and he is right to say that he is "very fortunate."
Has the recent media expose and attention crossed the line? I think not, the anger by netizens is genuine. But time will heal all wounds and the public may forgive Jack Neo in say, 2-3 years time.
Unfortunately, Jack Neo's insincere press conference did little to repair his reputation or to show that he is serious about changing his old habits. Will you give him a F or an A for this press conference?

French Model Maelle Meurzec Calls Jack Neo A Sleazebag

It is really hard to ignore Jackass, erm, Jack Neo. For a week now, everyday got news of his sexual harassment in the newspapers. You can't blame the media because too many worms are coming out of the woodwork for this man who supposedly loves his wife and children.
At least 10 women are linked to Jack Neo since 22-year-old Wendy Chong exposed their affair by showing up at his Pasir Ris semi-detached house demanding to see his wife, Madam Irene Kng.
The latest victim to expose Jack Neo's sexual harassment is a French student, Maelle Meurzec, who claimed Jack hit on her when she was only 16. She was acting in his movie "I Do I Do" in Nov 2004 and was a model for MC Models.
Maelle Meurzec, now 21, said Jack Neo started with a 'friendly' wrap around her shoulders on the first day they met and made more aggressive advances even after filming ended, including sending 30 SMSes, and asking her out to dinner dates at hotels.
The final straw came when Neo sent her an SMS, saying he wished they could be together. Upset, Maelle Meurzec told her mother and her family decided to make a police report if Neo continue the harassment. Fortunately, Neo stopped messaging her.
Maelle Meurzec did not mince her words in the interview, calling Neo 'a bit of a creep', 'a sleazebag' and 'a jerk'.
How can Jack Neo possibly love so many women (from mature, married ladies to young girls who are barely of legal age to have sex)? Clearly, it is lust and not love when he send those flirty SMSes.
I don't know how Jack Neo is going to face his family and explain his actions? Even if his wife has forgiven him, he is setting a bad example to his children and his fans. Perhaps he has his reasons, which he will reveal in a "tell-all" interview, but at the moment, he deserves no sympathy.
By the way, Mitsubishi Electric has withdrawn their support and JTeam is set to dissolve, with Mark Lee setting up his own company, Huang Productions next year. Will Jack Neo be able to make a comeback after these sex scandals?

Foyce Le Xuan 乐轩 Is Jack Neo's Second Mistress?

The dust has barely settled on the "Jack Neo-Wendy Chong" affair, and the media has reported Jack Neo's tyrst with a second woman.
This claim was made by 25-year-old Foyce Le Xuan (乐轩), who was described by Lianhe Wanbao as 'sexy and beautiful' and drew comparisons to Hong Kong pop star Coco Lee.
乐轩 alleged that Jack Neo wooed her aggressively after she joined his entertainment group Liang Jia Ban for a year from 2004. Jack sent her home and promised to groom her into 'Fann Wong No. 2', and even booked a hotel room so they could get to know each other better.
With this second mistress saga, I think Jack Neo did not just make a mistake with Wendy Chong. Jack is behaving like a serial predator on aspiring stars by hanging the carrot of fame in exchange for sex. His "wooing" methods on the girls are almost the same.
Fame and "love" can be potent drugs to gullible ladies and it depends on their ability to resist the temptations. Le Xuan 乐轩 refused the advances of Jack Neo because he is a married man but Wendy Chong did not.
Even though Wendy Chong 钟佳燕 is a third party, I sympathize with her. At least, she did something good by revealing the truth and serves as a case study for young actresses who are at risk of sexual harassment. I am glad she won't return to Jack. 钟佳燕 is still young and should be wiser after this experience.
I am also surprised that Jack Neo called up George Yeo who has been kind enough to ask fans to rally behind him and his family. But will asking a Minister, albeit close friend, to speak up for you help to repair your integrity? What do you guys think?

Fann Wong and Chin Han In Asia's 25 Greatest Actors
CNNGo recently listed 25 Greatest Actors of all time in honor of silver screen legends in Asia. Guess who represented Singapore in this prestigious honor?
On the male actor front, it is Ng Chin Han who delighted audiences with his theatrical, film and TV performances for over 20 years.
Chin Han scored a major coup when he was cast in the Hollywood blockbuster "The Dark Knight," opposite Christian Bale and Heath Ledger. He has previously acted in “ 3 Needles,” and was last seen in Roland Emmerich’s disaster film "2012."
Singapore's famous female artiste is none other than Fann Wong whose career got a big boost when she appeared alongside Jackie Chan in “Shanghai Knights.” That makes her the first Singapore actress to star in a Hollywood movie.
CNNGo said her best role was a wayward teenager in “The Truth About Jane and Sam” which won her a nomination for Best New Performer at the Hong Kong Film Awards.
Other renowned actors in the list include Gong Li, Tony Leung, Josephine Siu, etc, whom Fann Wong called "my idols."
Fann Wong quipped that she never expected her "works would be ranked on the same standing as theirs" and that it is a "big form of encouragement" for her.

Jack Neo Admits To Affair With Zhong Jia Yan (钟佳燕)
Jack Neo has admitted to a 2 year extramarital affair with a 22 year old model, Ms Wendy Chong, Zhong Jia Yan (钟佳燕).
钟佳燕 turned up at his place at Pasir Ris yesterday to expose their affair to his wife, Irene Kng Meifeng. To her surprise, Jack invited her into his house and asked his wife to meet her.
Irene Kng asked her what she wants and told her calmly that she already knew about their affair a year ago. She suggested they have a talk outside so as not to disturb her children.
The three proceeded to talk at a Crowne Plaza restaurant together with Wendy Chong's father and sister as well as Jack’s pastor and family friend who joined them later.
According to Zhong Jia Yan, she first knew Jack Neo while filming “Money Not Enough 2″ two years ago. They started dating a week later. She also revealed that she had gone overseas with Jack on four occasions during their relationship.
Jack Neo said he thought of ending the relationship, but 钟佳燕 always threatened suicide to keep him by her side.
Though Jack has since apologized to his wife who had forgiven him and wants to salvage the marriage, this entire episode is still very disappointing. Jack Neo and Irene Kng have always been seen as a loving couple. But the trust is broken now...
And what does his children and fans think about him? Having a mistress means Jack Neo is no longer fit to be a role model. His reputation as Singapore's most famous comedian and movie director is affected too. I don't want to support an irresponsible and ungrateful man, no matter how talented he is.
Last year, Marcus Chin married a young girl and Jack Neo commented that this is an "old cow eat young grass" incident. Jack was unhappy that his JTeam Productions has been affected. Actually, Jack should examine himself first before making such a statement.
Looking at the strings of mistresses which are linked to Tiger Woods, is it true that when a man is rich and successful, he is more likely to go out and fool around?

RJC and Hwa Chong Top GCE A Level Results 2010
Sighs of relief were apparent as the first batch of Integrated Programme students from Raffles Institution (RI) and Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) collected their GCE A-level results yesterday.
All eyes were on this cohort, the first to take the six-year "through-train" programme that allows them to bypass the GCE O-level examinations and proceed straight to the A-level examinations.
The results released on Friday showed two students from RI and one from HCI achieving the highest score with nine distinctions.
Source: Today Online
This through-train concept could be the way to go for our students. Maybe we can scrap 'O' levels altogether if the concept also proves successful in neighborhood schools.
While the number of students who score nine distinctions dropped, the mean university admission score of 85.3 over the last 3 years was higher than students who took the traditional path.
Overall, there is an improvement in the number of A-level passes this year. But it is worth noting that national exams only illustrate a proficiency in the subjects.
In our drive for higher productivity, we need fewer exam-smart students who mug books but more workers who have abilities to apply their knowledge in real life. And some of that knowledge cannot be found in books alone.

Extrusion Bean Recalled After Toxic Chemicals Identified In Kids Poisioning

The cause of a poisoning scare at Ai Tong School last month was traced to a squeeze toy, called Extrusion Bean. The toy, on a key ring, is shaped like a pod. When squeezed, a bean pops out.
The students had played with the toy and did not wash their hands properly before eating. This is believed to be the first such poisoning incident here.
Extrusion Bean contains traces of phathalates which are added to plastics to increase their flexibility. Consumption of these compounds can cause diarrhoea, nausea, etc. In large amounts, infertility and death may even result.
The Health Ministry and Consumers Association of Singapore have urged owners and sellers of these toys to recall or throw them away. Anyone who has similar symptoms should see a doctor immediately.
Why our students still don't practice personal hygiene in school after H1N1 scare? It is time teachers step up education and enforcement of food safety and hygiene.
Also, the authorities must ensure toys brought into Singapore (especially those manufactured in China) are safe.

Injured Sambar Deer Causes Traffic Jam On SLE
A fatally injured sambar deer was found lying on Seletar Expressway on the side of the road towards Central Expressway, causing traffic there to slow to a crawl yesterday morning. The deer, aged three to four years old, was hit by a vehicle.Source: AsiaOne
This hit and run incident is reminiscent of the Silviu Ionescu case. I think a lot of drivers must be overspeeding or drink driving at night. It makes our roads extremely dangerous during the wee hours.
According to the National Parks board, this sambar deer should belong to the Central Catchment Nature Reserve, rather than the Singapore Zoo or Night Safari.
As there are very few wildlife in Singapore, we should try our best to protect these sambar deers.
Singaporeans are unlikely to stop their cars and investigate the injuries or call the ambulance if they knock down a deer.
Perhaps, the authorities should take preventive measures by erecting barricades or signages to warn drivers to slow down in that vicinity.

Jeong Ae Ree Testifies In Silviu Ionescu Case

In the first day of the coroner's inquiry into hit-and-run victim Tong Kok Wai's death yesterday, Ms Jeong Ae Ree mentioned that she accompanied Romanian diplomat Silviu Ionescu on a night of revelry.
Jeong Ae Ree, a 40 year old Korean woman, was dressed elegantly in black and sunglasses as she made her appearance in court. The opera singer and voice coach has only known Dr Silviu Ionescu for nine days but she has become the key person in this case.
Both of them went to Shangri-La Hotel where he had some white wine and then adjourned to a Turkish restaurant in Clarke Quay and a KTV lounge at Peace Centre for a birthday party. Footages from CCTV taken at Shangri-La Hotel and Legend Palace were shown in court and Silviu Ionescu was seen with his arm around Ms Jeong.
Jeong Ae Ree said that Silviu Ionescu consumed tequila shots and a mixture of Coke and alcoholic spirits. It was almost 3am when he sent her back to her Hillcrest Arcadia condominium.
The following day, Silviu Ionescu met Jeong Aee Ree and said he was only "pretending to drink" alcohol the night they were out. He also showed her some medication and said he was a diabetic, and thus could not drink too much alcohol. All this puzzled Ms Jeong, who told the court she did not know why he did so.
I guess more relevations surrounding this case will come out as the inquiry continues. For now, it is clear Silviu Ionescu has been driving under the influence of alcohol but whether he is the culprit of Tong Kok Wai's death and hitting 18-year-old student Muhammad Haris Abu Talib remains to be seen.
At the end of the day, even if justice cannot be served to the offender due to diplomatic reasons, at least a sincere apology will be nice.

Swami Paramahamsa Nithyananda Sex Scandal Video Leaked

Swami Paramahamsa Nithyananda who is known as a Spiritual Guru from Tamil Nadu has shocked India after a video of him having sex with a top Tamil actress was broadcasted on popular Tamil channel SUN TV.
The Indian actress face was blurred in Nithyananda’s scandal video but her name is believed to start with “R”, leading to speculation if it is Ragasudha or Ranjita.
Indians are now angry with Nithyananda for tricking them into believing that he is a Swami (spiritual person). The sex scandal video has triggered questions about his lifestyle and religious standing.
However, it has yet to be verified if this is the truth or just a doctored video. Having sex by itself is not a crime and we don't know the full circumstances behind the sex video.
This scandal may have shaken some of his followers' faith but I guess the values contained in his teachings are still valid.

Jay Chou Denies Devin Wu (吴佩珊) 'Lost Virginity' Rumors

If you are a Jay Chou fan, by now, you should have heard about Taiwan celeb Devin Wu (吴佩珊) "confession" that she dated Jay Chou 12 years ago, and also lost her virginity to him when she was 16.
According to Devin Wu, the relationship started when she comforted Jay Chou who was emotionally hurt by a girl. They soon met each other's parents and have exchanged rings. However, the couple split because of a third party.
Jay Chou finally came out to clarify the rumors at an event to promote his science-fiction action drama "Pandamen" event on Saturday.
An exasperated Chou said: "Has she gone crazy?"
He claims that he only sent Wu, who was a label-mate (both were signed by Jacky Wu then) home on a few occasions but never dated her. He believes that she made the statement for the sake of the programme, Kang Xi Lai Le.
I will give Jay Chou the benefit of the doubt even if he has a reputation of being a playboy with at least 10 girlfriends including Jolin Tsai, Patty Hou and Jessie Chiang.
In this “初夜门,” Devin Wu seems to be using Jay Chou's name to milk publicity as the first J-girl. Devin Wu was once part of the group "One Fifth" which released a badly received album and her career stalled after that.
Well, Devin Wu should be contented now. A lot of people don't know her before she threw the bombshell but she is now the talk of the town.
Actually, Devin Wu 吴佩珊 has many talents. She sings pretty well (check out her video JUST U), writes her own songs and has a solid dancing background. She doesn't need to resort to such unehtical method to seek fame.
Is fame more important than shaming yourself and hurting a friend in public? What do you guys think?

He claimed to be Zhai's photographer, and said that when Zhai first became a model three years ago, she had already been involved in several pornographic videos with a previous boyfriend.
The lesson for all aspiring stars is that you should not have sex before marriage. You never know if your ex-boyfriend suddenly decide to blackmail you with topless photos or sex videos.
