Foyce Le Xuan Very Garang To Beat A Guy Up?

Last month, partygoers saw Foyce Le Xuan and another woman (X-Tin Lim) confront a popular Cantopop singer, Jason Chung, at Dragonfly club in St James Power Station.
Jason Chung, who is the frontman of Cantopop band Typhoon, allegedly cheated on both of them. The abuse, where the girls screamed, slapped and kicked him in the groin, was eventually stopped by the club's female employees.
Foyce Le Xuan has become very much of a celebrity in Singapore after telling the media about her rejection of veteran film-maker Jack Neo's advances in 2004.
Based on her actions, I am not surprised she got mentioned in the Straits Times as being garang, joining a growing trend of abusive women.
Last year, the Subordinate Courts saw 326 applications of personal protection orders (PPOs) and domestic exclusive orders (DEOs) filed by husbands against their wives. This is a 16% per cent spike from 2008.
Psychiatrists say the increase is due to the rise of women's economic power. While women have become more vocal and want to assert their authority, I am not proud to see more domestic violence coming from women.
It is worng to abuse your spouse, men and women alike. What do you guys think?
