Singapore Idol 2009: Battle Of Talent, Not Sexes
Are you ready for tonight's Singapore Idol 2009 Finals which has been billed as the battle of sexes, erm sorry, talent?
It is hard to ignore the fact that Sylvia Ratonel is the first woman in the top 2 of the Singapore Idol. The past contests saw Taufik Batisah triumphed over Sylvester Sim while Hadi Mirza defeated Johnathan Leong.
However, both Sylvia Ratonel and Sezairi Sezali wants to be judged on their style and singing abilities. I agree, to win this "national" event because you are a woman or guy rather than talent is nothing to write home about.
It is going to be such a bash at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, judging by the amount of people who turned up at the last roadshow in WestMall. Last I heard, tickets were going like hot cakes too!
The results of the Singapore Idol Grand Finale will be out at 10 pm on Channel 5. Stay tuned...

Are they any good? I saw Taufik in the final - was in Singapore for X'mas that year. He wasn't too bad and definitely better than the Chinese guy...
