Princess and the Frog Jumps To No.1 In Box Office
"The Princess and the Frog" has earned a big smuck from family audiences with a No. 1 weekend of $25 million.
The Disney animated musical, set in 1920s, tells the story of a young woman who try to help a frog become a prince again with a kiss, but in the process is herself transformed into a frog. Not to worry, as the movie has a happily-ever-after conclusion.
The Princess and the Frog is a classic bedroom story which all of us is familiar with. Knowing the plot, there is actually little motivation to catch the movie but I guess there is still a child in every one of us.
So whenever Disney creates an animation movie of its clasics, people just fall deeply in love with it.
