Noh Alam Shah Right To Criticize S-League?
Noh Alam Shah criticizes our S-League, which caused a huge furore in the media. Some people says he is ungrateful and has lost his moral authority to lead the Lions.
My husband actually feels Noh Alam Shah is very frank and brave to state the harsh truths about our S-League.
We go to S-League matches once in a while, and the atmosphere is really boring. I guess the cheers made in pubs are even louder when the Premier League matches are aired.
After 14 years, the S-League may have won Top Ten Leagues in Asia but fans are not flocking to the stadiums.
Like what my husband every time says, Singapore must return to the Malaysia Cup, then football fever will come back. But all the efforts at building our own League all these years will go down the drain... really very sad!
